Dance has a special way of bringing people together, making you feel connected and part of something bigger. It’s a powerful form of expression that can inspire teamwork and help achieve things that are hard to accomplish alone. In this project, you'll explore how dance can be used to prevent conflict and promote peace. You’ll dive into important topics like radicalization, racism, discrimination, and conflict resolution, using movement as a way to communicate and advocate for peace.

You’ll get to learn and perform different styles of dance, from hip-hop to traditional folk, collaborating with others to create powerful performances. At the end of the project, you'll help organize a community dance event to bring everyone together and showcase what you’ve worked on.

The first three days will focus on learning about peace education. On day four, you’ll begin planning the final performance, developing routines, and rehearsing. By day six, it’s showtime — you’ll take the stage and share the message of peace through dance!
