About what?
The tasks for the volunteer will focus on activities with children between 5 and 15:
- Organizing leisure time activities, sport activities, workshops on painting and sculpturing, teaching songs and dances
- Helping the children with homework
- Organizing workshops to promote the creative abilities of the children.
The volunteer will learn about the limited perspective that these disadvantaged children have.
The volunteer will be participating in the seminars which are organized for the staff on the work with disabled children, will learn methods of work etc.. The volunteer will also be in communication with the parents of the children, will organize discussion meetings for them, help them in their work with children.
Period?
12 months
The exact start and end date can be negotiated.
The cost?
Nothing! This project is subsidized by Europe through the European Solidarity Corps. Find the 'rules of the game' on our website.
